This policy covers the Maisie Mufflet Android app from WonderRivet Studios. It is a collection of stories, games and creative activities for children and families. Website visits are described in our separate website privacy policy.
Children’s play stays on the device
Maisie does not ask children to create an account or provide a name, email address, player profile or other identifying details. Story progress, settings, activity rewards, drawings, coloring pages and sticker scenes are saved in the app’s private storage on the device.
WonderRivet Studios does not receive those saves or children’s creations. The app has no account service, online messaging, public sharing, cloud synchronization, analytics or tracking service. The current Android build has no Internet permission, and its content is included in the app for offline use.
No ads, purchases or content gates
Maisie has no advertisements, sponsored placements, in-app purchases, subscriptions or paid content gates. Activities are open from the start. Stickers and stars celebrate exploration; they do not require payments or advertising.
Content, permissions and grown-ups
Stories, artwork, games and included book narration are bundled with the app. Drawings and sticker scenes are created within the app; the app does not upload or export them. It does not request access to your contacts, messages, location, microphone, camera or device calendar.
The grown-ups area contains settings and information for adults. The current app does not open external web links from children’s activities. Maisie Mufflet characters and books are credited to Grace Matthews Books; the app is by WonderRivet Studios.
Your device, operating system and the app store may process information under their own policies. This policy describes the app’s behavior, rather than those separate services.
Keeping and deleting local saves
Local saves remain on the device until they are changed, deleted, or the app’s storage is cleared. Ordinary updates and closing and reopening the app retain its local storage.
The current Android build disables Android backup and has no automatic cloud backup. Clearing app storage or uninstalling removes local progress and creations. WonderRivet Studios cannot recover data it never received.
Optional adult support messages
A parent or grown-up may contact us at contact@wonderrivet.com. If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use that information to answer your question, investigate an issue or handle a privacy request.
Please avoid sending children’s names, photographs or other personal details unless necessary for the request. Sending a support email does not upload the app’s saves automatically. We retain correspondence as needed to handle the request, maintain relevant support records or meet legal obligations.
Privacy questions and requests
Parents and grown-ups may email us with privacy questions or requests to access, correct or delete information they have sent us. We may need enough information to identify the correspondence concerned. To remove local app data, use the device controls described above; an email request cannot remotely erase data on your device.
Policy updates
If the app’s information practices change, this policy will be updated before the changed version is released. The date and app version above identify the behavior described here.
