Weeks Ahead Calendar helps you keep plans on your Android device. This version has no account sign-in, advertisements, or cloud planning service. The app does not have Android Internet permission.
Your calendar and plans
Plans, settings, week notes, yearly occasions, highlights, and reminder schedules are saved in private storage on your device. WonderRivet Studios does not receive your calendar entries from the app.
If you choose to import a device calendar, Weeks Ahead Calendar requests calendar access at that time. It reads the calendars and date range you choose, shows a review list, and copies the items you confirm. It does not change the source calendar and does not continuously synchronize it.
The most recent deletion is retained on the device for Undo until undone or replaced by another deletion. Backups include this local undo record.
Photos, screenshots, and messages
The system image picker grants access to the image you select. Taking a photo opens your installed camera app. Weeks Ahead Calendar uses a bundled Google ML Kit text recognition model to process the selected image on your device. Local interpretation rules then suggest dates, times, titles, venues, ranges, or repeats for your review. Your image and its recognized text are not sent to a WonderRivet Studios server or a cloud AI service.
The bundled SDK may generate local diagnostic information. This build explicitly removes the app's Internet and network-state permissions, preventing its own process from sending network transport requests. Weeks Ahead Calendar does not operate a separate analytics service. Temporary images captured for recognition are deleted after processing. Original gallery images are not modified. Recognized text appears in the review screen. Confirmed plan details, including a short source-text excerpt when available, are saved locally to explain the import; rejected candidates are not saved.
Message text is used only when you paste or share it to Weeks Ahead Calendar, or choose an image containing it. The app does not request access to your messages, contacts, microphone, or location.
Reminders and permissions
Notification permission is requested when you save a reminder, rather than on the app's first launch. Weeks Ahead Calendar uses Android's alarm and notification services for reminders you choose. You may turn notifications or calendar access off in Android settings.
Image selection uses the system picker instead of requesting broad access to your photo library. Camera capture is handled by your camera app under that app's permissions.
Backups and deletion
Weeks Ahead Calendar creates a backup only when you choose Save backup and a destination through Android's document picker. A backup contains your plans and settings. A destination you select, including a cloud storage provider, handles that file under its own policies.
Past events remain in History until you delete them. You can delete individual plans, clear the app's data in Android settings, or uninstall the app to remove its local data. Uninstalling does not delete backup files you saved elsewhere. Delete those files separately if you no longer want them.
Support
If you contact WonderRivet Studios by email, we receive the email address and information you choose to send and use it to answer your request. Avoid sending private calendar information unless it is needed for the support request.
