This policy describes the current Android testing build of Blot: Backlash Ink.
About this policy
WonderRivet Studios develops Blot: Backlash Ink, also called Blot. Earlier testing builds may display “Backlash Ink.” This policy explains how information is handled when you use the current Android testing build or contact us about it.
Privacy contact: contact@wonderrivet.com. Visiting wonderrivet.com is covered separately by the studio website privacy policy.
Local game information and its purpose
Local play and creation require no account. Progress, scores, settings, creations and recoverable drafts are stored locally on your device. The game uses this information to remember your progress and preferences, show scores, save creations and recover available drafts.
These local game records are not uploaded to WonderRivet Studios in the current testing build. If you choose to export a creation, the exported copy is yours to keep and manage. Sending that copy to us by email is a separate support action.
Advertising, analytics, purchases and Community
The current build contains no advertising SDK, analytics SDK or in-app purchases. Community sharing is disabled: players cannot currently publish creations to our servers.
This policy describes the build available for testing. If the app’s features or information practices change, we will update the relevant disclosures before those changes launch.
Android backup and device transfer
The Android build excludes game data from cloud backup and permits supported device-to-device transfer. Whether data transfers depends on the devices, Android versions and transfer method. Saves are not guaranteed to transfer or restore.
Keep your own copies of any creations you export, especially before changing phones, clearing storage or uninstalling. We do not hold a server copy of your local saves that we can restore for you.
Support correspondence
If you email support, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you send. We use them to answer the request, investigate an issue, maintain relevant support records or handle a privacy request.
A bug report may include your phone model, Android version, app version, affected mode or level and an optional screenshot. This information comes from what you choose to send; the game does not automatically send a support report.
Please include only what is needed. Remove unrelated personal information from screenshots and attachments. Support correspondence is handled through our email service; the studio privacy page explains contacting us by email.
Storage, retention and deletion
Local game information is kept in the app’s storage on your device while it remains available there. Clearing the app’s storage in Android settings or uninstalling the app can remove progress, scores, settings, creations and recoverable drafts. Android settings and wording vary by phone. Removing the app does not necessarily delete exported files or copies you stored elsewhere; manage those copies in the location where you saved them.
We cannot remotely erase or recover your local saves. An email request to us does not clear your phone’s app storage.
We retain support correspondence as needed to resolve requests, maintain relevant support records or meet applicable obligations. You may request deletion by emailing contact@wonderrivet.com. We will handle the request subject to any information we still need for those purposes or are required to retain.
Reasonable security measures
Local game information is stored in the app’s device storage, with access governed by Android’s app and device protections. We use reasonable measures to limit access to support correspondence and use it for the purposes described in this policy. No device or method of communication can guarantee complete security.
Protect your device, keep its software current and keep exported copies somewhere you trust. Do not email passwords or other sensitive information that is unnecessary for a support request.
Privacy requests and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction or deletion of personal information you provided to us. Email contact@wonderrivet.com and identify the correspondence or information your request concerns. We may ask for enough information to verify and locate it.
For local game data, use your device’s app-storage controls. For exported files, manage the copies you saved or shared. There is no account to delete in the current testing build.
Intended audience
Blot is intended for teens and adults aged 13 and older. This describes our intended audience; it is not an official app-store content rating or a claim of legal certification.
If you believe a child under 13 has sent us personal information by email, contact us so we can review and address the matter.
Visiting the website
App practices and website visits are different. Website hosting processes ordinary web-request information, and sending support email involves information processing. See the studio privacy page for website hosting and email information. This app policy does not replace that page.
Policy updates
We will update this policy when relevant features or information practices change. The publication date above identifies this policy version. Future disclosures will describe the features actually implemented and any service providers, information handling, privacy choices or deletion options they introduce.
