Which release this covers
Gap Heist is made by WonderRivet Studios. The planned public Android release will include gameplay banner ads, optional rewarded ads and optional in-app purchases through Google Play. This policy explains those features and clearly identifies what is active today.
Current testing build: 2.4.1. Bundled puzzles, progress and music work offline. This build uses Google’s demo banner and optional rewarded ads. Purchases, live WonderRivet ad units and a WonderRivet purchase-verification server are not active in this build.
Local game information
Puzzle progress, settings, earned designs, theme selections, ad-unlock progress and Level Creator drafts are saved on your device. Creator drafts can contain text you enter. In the current build these game records are not uploaded to a WonderRivet server. There is no separate WonderRivet game account or separate WonderRivet analytics service.
Advertising and Google
The Android test build uses Google Mobile Ads SDK 25.5.0. A banner appears below gameplay controls. Rewarded ads are optional and start when you choose to watch one for a collection reward. Current testing uses Google’s demo app and ad units; the planned public release will use production advertising when enabled.
Google’s SDK collects and shares network and advertising information according to its configuration, including:
- IP address, which can indicate a device’s general location.
- Product interactions, including app launches, taps and video views.
- Diagnostics about app or SDK performance.
- Device and account identifiers, such as advertising and app-set identifiers, where applicable.
Google describes these data categories as used for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. SDK data is encrypted in transit. Processing depends on the installed SDK, device settings and ad configuration. See Google’s SDK data disclosure and Google’s Privacy Policy for its processing and retention practices.
The current demo build requests G-rated ad content with child-directed and under-age-of-consent settings. Those settings do not mean that the SDK processes no data. A production consent flow has not been activated in 2.4.1. The production configuration and applicable privacy choices must be reflected in this policy and the store disclosures before live ads are enabled.
Demo ads are for testing and do not generate WonderRivet advertising revenue. Unavailable rewarded ads do not block bundled puzzles or earning collection rewards through play. The game does not request precise-location permission.
Optional Google Play purchases
Planned feature; disabled in 2.4.1. When purchases are enabled, optional digital items or benefits will be offered through Google Play. The item, price and purchase terms will be shown before you confirm a purchase. No product or price is being announced in this policy.
Google Play will process payment using your Google account and selected payment method. Gap Heist will not ask you to enter a full payment-card number or bank credentials into the game. Google’s handling of payment and transaction information is explained in the Google Payments Privacy Notice.
The purchase feature will use Google Play’s purchase records, which can include product identifiers, purchase status, a purchase token and an order or transaction reference when available. These records are used to confirm a purchase, grant the advertised benefit, restore eligible purchases and handle cancellations, refunds or fraud checks. A purchase token is a transaction identifier, not your full payment-card details.
Purchases and restoration will require internet access and the relevant Google Play account. Clearing local game data does not erase Google’s payment or order records. Purchase restoration depends on the item type and Google Play’s purchase status. Refund requests are governed by Google Play’s refund policies and applicable rights.
No purchase records are collected by an active Gap Heist billing feature today. Before a billing-enabled release, this policy and the Play Data safety disclosure will be updated to identify the actual verification method, any WonderRivet server or additional service receiving purchase records, and applicable retention and deletion practices.
Backups you control
You can export progress and Creator puzzles as JSON files to a location you choose and import them later. Keep exports private if they contain your Creator text. A storage service you choose applies its own policies.
Android may include local saves in system backup when backup is enabled. Android and backup-provider settings control that service. WonderRivet does not operate the system backup service.
Your choices and deletion
You can play bundled puzzles offline; network-dependent ads and future purchases will be unavailable. Rewarded ads and planned purchases are optional. Device settings may let you reset or delete your advertising ID. When applicable production ad-consent choices are enabled, the app will identify where to change them.
Android app settings can clear the game’s local data. Uninstalling removes local app files; Android may restore a system backup on a later installation. Manage exported files and system backups through your storage provider and Android settings. In-game Reset Progress retains owned cosmetics and does not delete all local information.
Local game records remain until you clear them, remove the app or overwrite them. Google manages its own advertising and payment records under its policies. A local reset or an email to WonderRivet does not automatically delete data held by Google.
External links, support and privacy requests
Studio website links and email open your chosen external app, which has its own policies. If you contact WonderRivet, we receive your email address, message and attachments and use them to answer, investigate the issue or handle a privacy request. Send only the information needed; do not include full card numbers, passwords, bank credentials or purchase tokens.
We retain support correspondence as needed to resolve the matter, keep relevant support records or meet applicable legal obligations. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction or deletion of personal information we hold. Contact contact@wonderrivet.com. We may need enough information to identify the records you mean.
Policy changes
We will revise this policy and the applicable store disclosures when actual services or data practices change. The date above identifies this policy version. The planned monetization sections do not claim that live advertising or billing is already enabled in the current test build.
